Former vice president Al Gore, author of the New York Times bestseller
An Inconvenient Truth, will present brief remarks and sign his
important new book The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change.
“This is a great book. From political policy and economics to science and the most thorny ethical issues, Al Gore has stated the human condition and the issues we face forthrightly, fearlessly, and in easily understood language—and has said what must be done. I asked myself halfway through who else could have written a book of this magnitude. The only answer I could imagine was Jefferson.” —E. O. Wilson, Harvard University, two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize
Free numbered tickets for a place in the signing line will be handed out at 11:30 am to customers with copies of "The Future" to be signed.
Seating for the brief presentation prior to the booksigning is limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis to ticketed customers only. In order to accommodate as many people as possible, Vice President Gore will only sign copies of The Future; with a limit of four copies per ticketed customer. He will not be able to personalize books, nor will he sign other books or memorabilia. No photographs or recordings will be permitted.
