TC Tidbits: Join Penguin Publishing in Sending Messages to American Heroes

Let Our Soldiers Know You Care

"The U.S. Military is us. There is no truer representation of a country than the people that it sends into the field to fight for it. The people who wear our uniform and carry our rifles into combat are our kids, and our job is to support them, because they're protecting us." —Tom Clancy

Tom Clancy is well known for his deep admiration and respect for our men and women in uniform. What better way to pay tribute to these American heroes who put their lives on the line for our country, than to carry his message of thanks, and those of the American people, to recovering soldiers in Walter Reed Army Medical Center?

The "Send A Message to an American Hero" program is an opportunity for the American public to send their own messages of inspiration and gratitude to veterans and active duty soldiers who are recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the nation's largest military medical facility, and clinical center of gravity of American military medicine.

The first 500 readers to submit a message via the online form below will have their message printed and enclosed inside a copy of Tom Clancy's newest book, which will in turn be given to a soldier as a gift for the holidays, compliments of Tom Clancy and G. P. Putnam's Sons.

Here's how to participate:
