This Week's Spotlight: The Rocky Mountain Land Library

The Rocky Mountain Land Library’s simple mission is to encourage a greater awareness of the land. Its 20,000 + volume natural history library is especially focused on the land and communities of the Rocky Mountains. They are very involved in several outreach programs: a Kids & Educators Library in south metro Denver (established in partnership with Denver Water and the Thorne Ecological Institute), and the Rocky Mountain Land Series (in partnership with the Tattered Cover Book Store), an author series established in 2001.

And right now they are very excited about finding and fixing up a beautiful, historic ranch in order to give a permanent home to their books and educational programs.
Read their joyful blog about moving the first books into the ranch just last week!
