TC Tidbits: Exhibiting The First Information Revolution

Writing is one of humankind's greatest achievements, creating the first "information revolution". Writing took a variety of forms, many of which are displayed in the exhibition, "Visible Language: Inventions of Writing in the Ancient Middle East and Beyond" at the Oriental Institute Museum at the University of Chicago. It is the first major public exhibition concerning the origins of writing in 25 years.
