May is Latino Books Month!!!
Since 2002, the Association of American Publishers (AAP) has been developing it's Publishing Latino Voices for America (PLVA) initative in recognition of the growth of the Latino community in the United States and the vibrant, rich variety of books authored by and for Latinos. In 2004, AAP launched Latino Books Month, which has now become an annual celebration in May.
All this week, Between the Covers will be featuring our favorite Latino authors, spotlights on local authors, and reading lists.
