Mark L. Finds This Book "Stunning"

"William Landay, the author of Defending Jacob makes the reader feel as if he has been forced into a straight jacket, chained inside the front car of a roller coaster, and driven off the tracks over a cliff. This story holds the reader's attention like a multi-vehicle pile up. The blade-edge of doubt is so sharp it disappears, yet cuts each character in turn.

Ego wars with deception, history with truth, and assumption with

acceptability like some flying roulette wheel of fate in a hurricane. All from a murder of a young teen and the trial of another in a small town. It is a marvel how thoroughly trapped the reader feels. Stunning."
