"I've only been peripherally aware of the whole Fancy Nancy craze (you can't help but be in a bookstore that has a children's section)--I don't have children or friends with children of the target age for those books. But when I heard that there was a new series starting with a slightly older Nancy, I decided to give it a try.
In Nancy Clancy Super Sleuth, the very precocious Nancy and her good friend Bree are very, very much inspired by the updated Nancy Drew series, and have turned their clubhouse into a detective agency. Through great diligence, they uncover crime here, there and everywhere. It's plenty of fun, but what I most appreciated about the book is it's continued effort to increase vocabulary. I have a feeling this series will be just as beloved as the first."
